Question: When do you realize that the idols you have had for a long time are not the kind of people you would associate with face to face? The answer would be when you follow a famous Idols Facebook posts. It amazes me that people are so enthralled by their idols until they realize they aren't even on the same page as their idols or those they admire in the entertainment fields. Some of them have entire different outlooks on life that what you are passionate about.
For instance liking someones fan page who happens to debate politics as if their views were the only thing that mattered. That their views were the only ones that were correct because why? Because they are famous?? It amazes me that, people don't realize that some stars be it musicians or actors, are quite different from roles they play or have played in past.
They are who they are, and if their beliefs change your view of the characters they portray then it is your choice not to watch them. But why troll them? They are after all human as everyone on Facebook is except the cats and dogs and animals that have their own facebook pages.
I spent a good portion of my day debating the Pussy Riot situation / incident in Sochi and though I was on the side of the fence that the person I posted on was on also, that person pulled apart my view and twisted it as if to throw me on the other side of the fence. That was not something I enjoyed learning about this person who I had admired for their talent. I don't think it will stop me from listening to their music but dang gummit, my view of them as a person showed me what an angry attitude they retain about people in general. And I use to think Henry Rollins was an angry person.. this one seems to put Henry to shame.
For someone who loves animals and human rights I could not understand the double standards of sending someone to the other side of the fence.
My view still is that Pussy Riot girls were lucky to not have gotten worse beating, because normally protesters are beat to a pulp not only in Russia but in many countries on the brink of revolutions. The girls have guts and stand for what they believe, I admire people who will stand up to authority and Govt. because Govt to me are the enemy. But that's my personal view. I don't let it consume me from the moment I get up til I go to bed. I want to enjoy life what freedoms we do still have.
Oh and people need to get over the fact that not all their favorite actors are going to be soft spoken respecting citizens. Some of them like to get out there and raise some hell and Cuss like sailors. There are those I accept for who they are and others that I now just ignore based on the people they are. Now if they are darn right arrogant pricks, obviously I would not spend time reading their posts or tweets. Ill keep following my regulars for the smart things they post. And recognize their talent as actors. I will not follow those that try to rip each person a new one when they post on their fan page with goodness in their heart. (meaning posting from the good of the people side)
Probability : I can see me eventually getting a 2nd FB acct so I can take a break from the craziness that goes with it. Sometimes there is just too much info that I don't want to know. LOL
I knew it!: Arizona was the state of ignorance. It is confirmed in today's reading their protection of religious freedom giving them the right to actually discriminate on gender, race, job or anything that their religion doesn't believe in including choice of life partners.

Outer Space ?
Okay today I was reading my Environmental Sci book and came across a couple things that made me think and question something.
First of all I learned that Uranium turns into lead 270 after over 700 billion years. Secondly, I wondered if all Uranium turns to lead that is in the ground, eventually? They say they date the earth by lead in the layers of rock. I found that interesting. I didn't seem to find the answer to that question.
My 2nd observation was after reading about life on other planets. The Mars Viking missions, it got me wondering why is it that we humans smart as we are didn't think to send something to another planet Mars? Moon? that could help develop life survival.
Now what I mean is, if we have knowledge to get a ship to Mars why not go just to the Moon and deliver something that could cause life to grow on the Moon over millions of years of course. As an alternative when our earth is killed by Humans. Wouldn't that kind of be an answer? Why not send some ships to nearest possible life sustaining planets and deliver some sort of organisms that could evolve into life. Who says it has to be air breathing life? Fish swim, they cant breath air to live. I know my ideas are probably ahead of the technology but it sure gave me a good think about possibilities.
Probably may not happen in many generations but it is possible. Least I thought it!
Lastly I don't have a real I knew it because there is no way I would have known that the UK could be more devastated by flooding than I could have imagined possible. It is heart wrenching and I write the end of this as tears fall, grieving for the people with such loss. I have not felt this sad about catastrophe since Sandy and Katrina. Something about the UK for me though, because it was always my home away from home so oddly I seem to be in more pain about this than I was with USA floods.
I have a couple shots taken from news stories. They are here for information on just how bad things are. Send some vibes out to the weather to stop raining and causing these floods. On Getting Old and a Few Questions..
Just a Few Questions..
Today is one of those days where reflection takes on new meanings. Its not like I look in the mirror often. At my age who wants to. But imagine 40 yrs ago leaving the house without looking in the mirror and primping! (thank god autocorrect didn't act up on that last line lol) I think sometimes I hate Facebook because it ages me more than if I didn't look at it everyday. You wake up turn on computer load Facebook to see, some famous actor or musician has passed away. You see tons of RIP's and miscellaneous photos of that person, and their achievements.
It sure makes you feel small if you aren't famous. You think gosh when its my turn, there wont be any sort of epitaph posted about me. I haven't done anything extraordinary, but post on facebook, about the good ol'days, photos of my fantastic grand kids and daughter.
I never became someone famous, to be remembered. Heck, you get to a point where you figure out that it doesn't matter if you had some famous moments or not. Your just happy to wake up each day and breath.
Is that why some of us older generation, take up reading and watching tv. Just things to pass time? But didn't we do many things in our lives that were to enjoy and pass time? Yes that includes sex! We made the memories and for what purpose I start to ask myself.
Is this figuring out the meaning of Life part of the aging process? In fact it is according to my psychology 101 book. Just about the time we figure out the meaning to us, we come to grips with it and accept that it may be over soon. So we grasp that and walk with it. We smile and make our peace, we either get more miserable or bitter or we mellow out and laugh a lot more. Which brings me to Facebook again, waking up and finding a ton of new posts with funny cats, funny sayings, and funny anything to share with some of my other older generation people. So we end up with the RIP and the FUNNY side of life. Surely that is all worth logging in for, besides I think I need to know where all my old friends are at, eating sleeping drinking, watching tv etc, or looking at facebook in the same way as me! Just saying......

Algebra Really?
Question : Algebra really?
Algebra the ultimate test in college - that you have some analytic sense within your mind. And then and only then if you pass algebra your considered college qualified degree worthy people. I don't know anyone that uses Algebra daily but teachers, and scientific people. I saw a card on FB. It has a been another day that I have not used algebra in my life ever.
What is the probability that I will listen to all my music on vinyl or cassette before I climb the stairway to heaven? I just thought about how much music we all have in our possession. And I wondered what we were thinking by collecting so much. When in our lifetimes its so unlikely we will get to listen to everything one more time again. I think I should start listening to something each day that I haven't listened to in years. The concept is quite vast in the array of life of things to do as we breath. Where to start since i have no organization of most of my music though i did box it and label a lot. I am hoping that my collection will pass to my grand children. Whatever they will do with it I don't know. Ha!
I knew it! Subway food was just a lie. Although they are trying to change the bread that doesn't eliminate much of the danger when they continue to serve meat with nitrates. It must be serious if our local telecast on nbc made a news report about the danger of the substance in the bread they are in process of removing. Wow.. you realize that its a flammable product that is used in Yoga mats ? IT is a plastic but god knows how many more substances we have consumed with just as much crap in it. I know lead was one as they told about it on the news cast, as well as more plastics. Why did we even chew gum? Think about what gum is made of, look it up ? How much gum have we all swallowed?
I hope my grand kids never chew gum. Less its organic LOL.

Blender Blades...
Probability - It is probably true that Facebook is a place where we can all be a Star to someone. If you think about it... Each of us have a small group of people who LIKE our page. Some of us have more than others, on our Friends List. But each of us have an opportunity to post periodically each day and be remembered that day for perhaps a Post you have made or a pic you have shared. Some of us make humor posts, some make activist posts, some just post photos or things in the news. Whatever the case, we post and someone reads it. So in essence we are all authors of some form of creativity. I like that we all have the opportunity to be someone and someone other than just to people in the world that we live. So when you feel down step back and look at Facebook and notice that there is usually at least a few people who do pay attention to your posts and when they do you are in essence validated as a Star. You are validated as a creative person and an author of your creativity.
Question - Would you rather spend your happy moments alone or spend moments with someone that makes you unhappy?
I knew it - I knew it! My husband would fail at washing the Blender Blades for the Ninja blender, after use every time! I found the blades and the container in the sink this morning! I guess I have to watch and nag more often.

Probably Procrastinate..
Probability - I will probably procrastinate some more on writing faithfully on this blog. ha! I would like it to become used. Therefore I shall endeavor to be more attentive to it.
Questions - Am I the only one that watches tv faithfully? Why do I watch tv?
I have an answer to why, I watch to escape and be entertained as if I am reading a good book. After all that is what Tv is for, it is a script written from someones imagination made into a visual film. So it is the inspiration I admire in the scripts for the Tv shows that I have become attached to.

The list is probably longer but this keeps me inspired. It keeps me dreaming. I write when im Inspired in bursts of a day or 2 or 3, if im not stimulated with inspiration past that the story sits until I become re inspired. Which is why I have a few unfinished stories.
Facebook has been great to bring people I once knew back into my life Im happy about that. However not being young like I was when I knew them kind of is depressing, aging is not fun dont let anyone tell you different. God only knows how the Rolling Stones have the energy to get on a stage at their age!
I knew it! - I would figure out this blog eventually and it would open up a new door to my creativity. more to come
